The Tortoise Spot is ran by me Kyle and is just what I call the place I keep all my shelled pets. It started when friends you to come over and hang out and at somepoint someone said are we hanging out at the tortoise spot... and it stuck (that was in 2006). In 2007 I made my first website that ran all the way up til 2024. I shut it down to redo it and switch host.. This is where we are now! Welcome to the new website as of 2025. The new home of the tortoise spot. 

I keep a handful of species and got my first turtle when I was 13 years old. She was a 3 toed box turtle I named Rex. From there I had many species and many parts in my life where I had to move and at one point had to get rid of my whole collection. After about a year no turtles or torts I decided in 2008 to get some mountain tortoises. Took me a bit of time but I ended up getting a few and from there added to my collection.. and the rest was history!
